In fact one of the first shooters was 1942 which was made by Capcom. Capcom has the most experience with this genre.

This game is a perfect example of a 2D shooter.

Unfortunately it never came to America because Nintendo thought we already had too many at the time of release.

This game is hard. Expect to see Game over many a time.
